I wish there was an "uninterested" option on the poll, because that's how I feel about it right now. I haven't been interested in Nintendo products since the Gamecube, and that's a trend that's likely not going to change.
The reason I didn't show up here willingly is because I don't really have anything nice to say about modern Nintendo and their new console, so I chose to say nothing at all. Sorry but that's just how I feel.

I dont know. I am curious about it but also unimpressed at the same time. I just wish nintendo would get there act together and stop using such weak hardware in there systems. Then again nintendo is probably not aiming to win a tech arms race with sony and microsoft but they could easily put more powerful hardware in there systems because they have the money to do it. I hope the switch gets some great games made for it because it would be cool to see this system succeed but I dont have my hopes up.
They could afford to screw up the switch and still have enough money left over to try again next time. Not really to happy with modern day nintendo outside of maybe the 3ds. Not really impressed with sony and microdick's consoles either.

You know I hate to say this, I wasn't going to say this, I was going to be civil because I think the people are getting tired of Balder's bickering, but honestly - Balder is everything wrong with this forum. He's been moderator for many years now and nothing gets done. I mean really nothing. And I think it's time for a change. We look around and we see board members that aren't interested. The Spirit Bomb said so himself earlier. Totally uninterested. He's just not interested any more. And quite frankly, as moderator Balder should be stepping up to the plate. We see daily posts by our posters going down 20, 44, in some cases even 78.5%. Where are all of the posts going? Seriously, where are they going? Balder doesn't know, that I can tell you. But I know where they're going. I do a lot of business on other boards - I know where those posts are going. And they aren't nice forums, folks. Not as nice as this one. Listen, Balder doesn't invite people to his topics. He can't handle people disagreeing with him. In fact, when was the last time Balder even made a topic? I can't remember, can you? And even if he did, my topics get way more views. A lot more shout-outs. A lot more. That's what we need in this forum. More posts, more views, more shout-outs. I'm wary that, for being also a portable, it won't be too powerful - while graphics don't matter much to me, it matters to 3rd parties, as most publishers don't want to "tone down" their games for a single platform, and that was the reason why both the Wii and Wii U lost support quickly. So I'm afraid the Switch ends up in the same situation of the previous Nintendo consoles, receiving very few ports of major games. On the other hand, it's too bulky to be portable and loses a lot of features from the 3DS: the dual screen, probably the 3d and even the touchscreen (the screen might be touch-sensitive, but the games won't use it - otherwise, you would have no way of playing them when the system is docked). I also don't think its battery life will be so amazing while running a game like Skyrim. That's why I'm, right now, largely unimpressed by the Switch, even though the idea itself is nice. But I'm not dismissing it: if it receives proper 3rd party support, and if Nintendo can output consistently great releases as they always have, then the Switch might become something special, especially since they might now focus all their creativiy in a single system.

As for the NX... I'm kinda thorn? On the one side I like the idea of local multiplayer on the go, but on the other hand I'm highly unimpressed by the device itself. Seriously my computer has the lowest end video card available on the market right now (A 2 GB GT 970) and it can run Skyrim on the highest settings available and meanwhile this thing boasts that it can run Skyrim too? What?
Plus Nintendo's "casual" approach is starting to piss me off; StarFox Zero, Paper Mario Color Splash, Metroid Prime Federation Force and the upcoming pikmin are all fucking rubbish (Sorry teddy I know you liked MP:FF). Seriously at first I promised myself that I would buy the damn thing if a new F-Zero came out for it but chances are if an F-Zero does come out Miyamoto and his team of fucbois are involved (And yes I know it's them running the company's IPs to the ground because the latest Zelda had no involvement whatsoever from them) it will end up being a visualo novel with 2D racing or some shit.
So basically Nintendo gets their shit together or bust, I don't really care as I'm currently using my 400 dollars salary (Yes, really) to save up for a new graphics card so I can play Skyrim 4 times at once and boast about it I guess.
