I've actually never played Gamecube. Is it worth it? It's definitely the least appealing 6th gen console. YES. The Gamecube has an enormous amount of awesome exclusives, and is superior to the Wii in every way, even though the Wii is essentially just a Gamecube but with gimmicks slapped on. It's often better than the PS2 for multiplatform games because they often look better, run smoother, and don't require a multitap setup for multiplayer like the PS2 does. And that last part of your comment was totally subjective, because for me the only unappealing 6th gen console is the Dreamcast. Had one, sold it and don't regret that decision. May I ask why the Gamecube doesn't appeal to you? The exclusives doesn't do it for me. I've never been a Nintendo guy and I never will be.

You have in the Wii everything a GameCube can do and more.

Games like Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn and A Boy and his Blob are great and all, but there aren't enough games like that on the system to justify buying one. And many Gamecube accessories are not compatible with the Wii, like Action Reply and the GBA Player, among others, so there's another reason to keep the GC. But yeah, if you don't own either one, the Wii is probably the better choice. Balder have a look at this.

I agree with you dude, but I'm not getting any new systems any time soon since I just got into arcade gaming.

Wii is like a better Gamecube. Almost as many good exclusives, a lot of great ports like Resident Evils. It looks good, tastes great too.
Advanced waggle controls are great. There, I said it.
