The New Colossus definitely takes the price as the best trailer of the show. I never imagined they were going to remake Shadow Of The Colossus, and not only that, they already dated it 2018. That's amazing to me as that is one of my favorite games of all time. That trailer made my day.  The only one I actually cheered. But even then, I still think the Detroit trailer was game of the presentation. (Spiderman... pssh... Give me a sexee robot anyday) Shadow of the Colossus... How many times must I buy that game?!?  (this would be the 5th or so now)
I thought nothing was going to excite me this E3, but at least I'm excited for that, also the Dragon Ball FighterZ game looks better than I imagined it. The Dragonball Z fighting game really took me by surprise. It looks beautiful, so much that I'm actually wondering if I should get it. It looks impressive - Potentially the best looking DB game ever. But I fear that the 2D eye candy would be at the cost of large open arena environments and aerial freedom of recent entries...  |

I definitely wasn't expecting a SotC remake. It looks great. The only reason I'm not more impressed is because it had a HD remaster not too long ago, but it's still a good thing that there's interest in it.
The Dragon Ball fighting game has really good visuals, doesn't it? If it wasn't for the different camera angles, I would mistake it for 2d graphics.
Besides those, I'm really not impressed this year. Most of the games were already announced (like Far Cry 5), are expected sequels from fanchises that I have zero interest (Assassin's Creed) or are just games we've known for a decade (look at how many Skyrim annnouncements! What's up with that?), so there was nothing too surprising until now. It's cool to see sequels for Wolfenstein and Beyond Good & Evil, though, even if I haven't played the previous games.

The New Colossus trailer gave me goosebumps, so I have to make it the winner. Cervantes About the Dragon Ball FighterZ game, they mentioned it was going to be 2.5D, but the character artstyle is definitely 2D, that's amazing to me. That's everything I ever wanted. leaon79s Sacrificing the space and movement of 3D arena fighting games is exactly what it was needed to make the fighting tight and over the top. I really hope it becomes the new trend and we start getting every franchise like this, Saint Seiya, Naruto, One Peace, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Pokémon, etc..

Nah, you are definitely fine in your head. (I did get the joke though, super hilarious, your level of observation always amazes me). Your humor shows it, and your Ikagura high scores too, which by the way, if I knew that game before it would definitely be in my top 20 now. About Ico, I think Ico is a very fine game, very good for sure, but Shadow Of The Colossus is a full masterpiece. They are very different games on very different levels. I'm glad they went with Shadow Of The Colossus because Ico would be cool to see again, but I wouldn't be that much excited for it as I am with Shadow Of The Colossus which is one if my top 5 best games of all time. On the other hand Resident Evil 2 does deserve the remake, and Resident Evil 3 as well. In my opinion those should had come out when Zero and 1 were remade. |

I was very excited at first for the reason you just said - it looks a lot like the Arkham games, but Spider-Man. That's very cool. Then we get to the quick time events... Does anyone actually get turned on by QTEs? Is there someone watching this trailer going, "On man! Can't WAIT to hit those buttons at that precise moment!" It's not me, that I can tell you. The rest looked cool, though. |

Guess I'm getting myself a Swish for xmas. I was really hoping for Rune Factory but they're ticking just about all the right boxes.
-at least 2 good action RPGs - check
-at least 2 good JRPGs - check
-decent FPS with motion controls (I seriously can't play FPS with analog sticks) - check
-sandbox game - check
-2 good strategy RPGs - check
all's I want is a comfy action RPG like Rune Factory now
the 'buy our DLC pack to get classic Zelda music' is bull**** but compared to all the quick time movie trailers for every other system it's a small quibble kvetch.
I really ragged on the Switch but Saints Row: Mario edition looks fantastic.
