Annual E3 topic (Since 2017)

Haha, just like Balder I dislike the Rabbids too. It's cool for the Ubisoft guy that made his own Mario game, what a dream come true must that had been for him, plus getting out pretty much a launching Mario title on the new console before the actual Mario comes out, but sorry, I dislike the Rabbids as much as I dislike those Minions.

I don't care about E3 but a friend of mine said Nintendo announced a real Metroid game for 3DS (and a sixth shitty dudebro shooter with Metroid in the title for Wii U Portable), so against my better judgement I looked up the 3DS game and even though it is an E3 announcement which makes me infinitely suspicious as only lies and garbage gets announced at E3, that's the rule, it was a Metroid 2 "reimagining" made by the developers of CastleVania Lords of Shadow, two games I like a lot, and there were a couple of new Metroid Amiibos as well to go with it, and they both looked really good.. it's due to release 15th september, shortly after my birthday.

Damn it, for the first time since Other M I'm hyped and have hope for a new Metroid game, this is not good, E3 plus hype and hope can only lead to disappointment.

Now I won't be able to sleep, waiting for the apocalypse, till september ends.

Also if it's good I have to buy a fucking 3DS.. ugh, at least they're a bit easier to get hold of cheaper second hand, so I'm glad it wasn't the potentially good game of the two that became Wii U Portable exclusive, that would've sucked cuz I REALLY really don't want one of those.

UPDATE:
I watched the full length video where they showed off the game quite a lot more and it's definitely not as good as it could've been, they've added and changed  literally a metric fuck ton of stuff so it's about as close to being a Metroid 2 remake as the fangame was, so it's clearly not the game to replace my beloved Metroid 2 original, that's for sure.

I may still get this game some day, but I won't be rushing to buy a 3DS just to play it any time soon. If I can get hold of a cheap 3DS some day I'll make sure to look for a cheap copy of this game as well, but this is not a must have from the added footage I've seen now. I will be on the lookout for the Samus Returns Amiibo though.

Chuck's games didn't look like this back when I was winning tickets. Maybe it's different now.

I don't know. I'm unfamiliar with the Rabbids. Is this gameplay style based on their series?

Even Sony's conference was a steaming pile of feces. Except Spider-Man. 

Pimpjira the only examples of FPS with motion controls that I have personally tried are Killzone 3 and Resistance 3. They're not on-rails and you still need a second controller with a joystick to move, usually placed on the gun's handle.

I really don't know which one is the one billspreston saw announced. I didn't hear anything about something like that other than Metroid Prime 4. If that's the case, that would be awesome.
