Yup. It wrapped up the saga perfectly. In fact the ending of ROTJ was so satisfying for me that I would've been totally fine without a sequel trilogy, even if it had been done well, since there was already tons of great EU content that beautifully illustrated post ROTJ events better than the Disney trilogy ever could. That another reason why I think every Star Wars fan needs to play Jedi Outcast. It's a perfect example of this. Although regarding ROTJ's ending, I must say that I strongly prefer the updated celebration theme from the special edition. Yub Nub was not an appropriate/good enough theme to end on. The new theme is so much more powerful and emotional. I much prefer the Definitive version of ROTJ compared to the Special version. Well don't worry, because that was pretty much the only change (the ROTJ special edition made) that I genuinely liked. I too overall much prefer the classic version.

Some questions for people who have seen the movie (Last Jedi):
-How does Last Jedi's soundtrack compare to the other SW films' soundtracks?
-Were there any really cool scenes? How well were the fight scenes directed? Were there any lightsaber battles?
-Were all of the spaceship designs recycled from the original trilogy like was the case with Force Awakens?
-Is the sequel trilogy so far better than the post ROTJ expanded universe storyline in your opinion?

The soundtrack is really really good. It's better than VII's. There are some really cool visual shots, but for me they are ruined by the plot holes they create. Lightsaber scenes are cool, but again the context ruins it for me, except the last lightsaber fight, which is really nice. Still, I prefer the lightsaber fights in V, VI and III. All of the ships are just slightly changed from OT. They serve the same purpose, expect that the bomber again creates another plot hole. I loved TFA, but if the last film in the trilogy is as bad as this, I'm going to consider the whole trilogy non-canon.

A guy once told me if you didn't enjoy VII, you won't enjoy VII.

Same. Mark Hamill is my hero. I'm just waiting on the complete gif of him flinging the lightsaber over the cliff. Good scene. Or better yet, the one where he dusts off his robe. That was the best scene.

I would answer those questions, but seeing as you don't trust anyone who 2>6es....

Also, it has the best ending of any Star Wars movie. If IX is as underwhelming as VIII, I'm going to consider VI as the last SW movie chronologically. Ah, fairytale children. Don't worry, I promise you'll get another happy ending by the end of Episode IX.... If you ship ReyLo that is !...Ha- haaaa-haaaa... Hmmmm....
What else do you expect from the Princess franchise people??

Or better yet, the one where he dusts off his robe. That was the best scene. I burst into applause during that scene the first time I saw it and the entire theater joined in, too. Was a great moment. I'll tell you what, though. Had that scene ended differently, I would have been a very unhappy camper. To say the least!

I wish they'd just call it "pixel art" (everybody used to call it "8-bit" a couple years ago and that wasn't accurate, either), but whatever. Spoilers, obviously.

I just realized the film has a 50% audience approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. I hope Disney is taking note of stuff like that, not that they'd listen to fans over profits.

Cause it's made by Disney and I don't support Disney. I also am angry that this sequel trilogy doesn't resemble the Expanded Universe in any way.
