It seems to be copying heavily from Monster Hunter and other older series like that, both in gameplay and technical/visual quality, and it feels less like a Zelda game than any other Zelda game before it, even the CDi games had a more Zelda-esque feel to them.  |

So far the only negative things I've heard about this game have been from people who haven't played it. I love it. I wish there were 25 hours in the day, so I could play it. This adulting thing is getting in the way of my Zelda time, damn it! Cinemassacre has been live streaming gameplay every damn day since the release. I'm rather jealous, because my job won't let me do the same... |

Paging Spirit Bomb ... what is my favorite ginger's perspective? Short answer: It's not for me. The game world looks bland as hell and the game just doesn't seem to have much imagination. After playing Majora's Mask, it's hard to go back to the rehashed Hyrule setting over and over and over....Termina ranks as one of the greatest and most imaginative game worlds ever created IMO. I don't know why Nintendo refuses to create new settings for the Zelda series. It's lazy and reprehensible. I'll just keep playing OoT and Majora's Mask, because that's all I need for my Zelda fix (although Zelda II is a nice treat now and then). |

What I've heard is that BotW is like a mix of the original Zelda with OoT. Maybe keep an open mind, try the game for yourself it you get the chance. |

Hopefully they include some orchestral arrangements of classic Zelda songs and it's in the options of Zelda GOTY edition next year. |

That won't work for playing on the go or any kind of immersion. Take Skyrim for example. They did new arrangements of a lot of the music from the other games and even 200 hours of music gets a bit stale in an open world game but thankfully there's mods to add in hundreds of hours of more music and they fade in and out at the right times for battles and such. |
