So if you're a Patron of CGR, he just released a vlog about the situation of CGR again. He was very depressive and negative, especially of YT (no surprises there). He said he was going to have a "I'll whatever I want"-attitude with his reviews due to bad feedback and Patreon progress.
I feel bad for Mark, and not be a fearmonger, but it is a sign of the end. He is going to bet a lot on his books (which is a very controversial topic as far as I understand). He basically said that if the books (as a whole) fails, CGR will be no more. I'm not saying people should buy the books to support Mark, but they are very fun. I love the idea that he produces both CGR and his books. Anyways, I just wish Mark would stay a little more positive, because after all, that's what CGR has always been for me.

I was on You Tube watching one of his videos the other day, and a bunch of asshats were really ripping into him. I don't know why they are watching if they are "done with him." I hope he isn't reading the comments on the You Tube page. No one should ever expect to have a real conversation there.

I was on You Tube watching one of his videos the other day, and a bunch of asshats were really ripping into him. I don't know why they are watching if they are "done with him." I hope he isn't reading the comments on the You Tube page. No one should ever expect to have a real conversation there. Yeah I know. Comments on his drawing videos are especially harsh. I get why he wants to quit YT for good, but still, I hope he doesn't for convenience sake and for newcomers. I feel like he would disappear into obscurity or just be really really niche at that point. |

Wait, are people threatening to unsubscribe from him again? I haven't been watching any of his videos recently, but I remember him having this problem in the past. Are they complaining for the same reasons? (ex: "reviews too short", "too much Patreon endorsement", etc.)

Wait, are people threatening to unsubscribe from him again? I haven't been watching any of his videos recently, but I remember him having this problem in the past. Are they complaining for the same reasons? (ex: "reviews too short", "too much Patreon endorsement", etc.) It's a lot of fuck you for doing drawing videos and fuck you because the reviews aren't how they used to be. |

His videos aren't as funny or vibrant as they used to be. He's either feeling the strain from YT or his heart just isn't in it anymore. It may nearly be time for him to move on  I'm not a Patreoner but I've bought his merch in the past, and he's currently got a few books I'm interested in: Ethel, LK 1.5, Surf Pandas and 'How to make a Video Game Review Show that doesn't suck'. He has "Retromegatrex: The Art of Mar Bussler", but I find his artwork not remarkable enough to buy. But he makes up for it with wacky storylines, like alien races that live in margarita oceans. He's got that coming in Lord Karnage 1.5. |

It has nothing to do with production values or the set or anything like that. It's just what centipede said, he's not fully enjoying it anymore and it shows. |
