I'm not big on the Indie scene (Most of them seem to be all copying off of each other and making games in the same genre.), but this last Nintendo Indie Direct was interesting. Hypnospace Outlaw looks really weird, but I'm interested. I have no idea as to why they made a game about the early 90s internet, but hey, why not? Untitled Goose Game is going to get a 2 player update, and that looks like a lot of fun. I may purchase the physical edition. There were a few other games that were interesting, but Raji looks awesome. That game looks extremely well crafted, and I love the idea of exploring Indian lore. I think I may pick that one up too.
Did anybody else find anything interesting?

This is cool:
I'm going to wait for when they open the one here in California. I'm so glad they are building one close.
Also I don't usually play RPGs, but I always liked the characters, and Sephiroth is one of the characters I like the most, he even looks like Alucard already.
That song One Winged Angel that sounds like Zakk Wylde is playing it, was always a favorite of mine, so it is nice seeing it included in the game:
It is nice being able to play with those characters without being turn based, and mixed with all the other scenarios including Symphony Of The Night. That's a nice addition I definitely approve.

Any thoughts on yesterday's Direct? I had mixed feelings about it. Skyward Sword, Bravely Default, No More Heroes 3,Bravely Default 2, the Ninja Gaiden trilogy, and Samurai Warriors 5 all look interesting. I am intrigued by Square Enix's Project Triangle Strategy. Everything else wasn't that spectacular to me. I won't crap on it, though, because there seems to be interest in the other games that aren't my cup of tea. This is why I wish they would turn off the live chat while streaming. I'm sick of the neck beards and the tweens bitching about announcements that just aren't for them. It was a solid direct. What are you all looking forward to?

I am very interested in Project Triangle Strategy, and am thinking about picking up the Famicom Detective Club games. I will get Samurai Warriors 5 but I'm assuming that's not Switch exclusive so if runs bad on Switch I'd get it on another platform. I'm going to give the Ninja Gaiden trilogy another go. I'm slightly interested in the Legend of Mana and Saga Frontier remasters, but not really sure on those. I might get Mario Golf, I like that it will have a single player campaign with RPG elements like the GBC version did. No More Heroes 3 looks cool but I haven't played 1-2. The biggest announcements of Skyward Sword and Splatoon 3 didn't really do anything for me.
Oh, and I'm definitely getting Bravely Default 2, but I knew that since it was announced.
Also, Pyra/Mythra in Smash is cool but I'm not really sure if I care about Smash anymore.

To me it is just mind blowing that we are finally getting a proper Ghosts 'N Goblins. Talk about reviving one of the biggest IPs out of nowhere.
It's been 30 years since Super Ghost 'N Goblins on the Super Nintendo. It was 1991. Sure we had Demon's Crest, Gargoyle's Quest II, Arthur, Maximo, but those were spin-offs.
The only one I could probably consider is the one on the PSP, so to me this is huge.
I'm also happy for the Ninja Garden trilogy, that one has two of my favorite games of all time, and I also like the third. The first game is on my top 10 of all time.
Those are games I rediscovered later on because when they came out I wasn't playing games, but I remember some of my friends playing them, and they were always special, so I'm happy to see them come back.
If they are releasing No More Heroes III and they already have I & II, maybe we probably could get other suda51 stuff like Killer7, Killer Is Dead, and Lollipop too.
I'm glad Skyward Sword will have an HD release because it gives me a good excuse to go through it, which makes me think how Twilight Princess HD is still on the Wii U and they should release that too.
No news of Bayonetta 3 yet, Metroid Prime 4, or another F-Zero, so they still have a lot of stuff they can go through.
I'm leaning towards collecting as many Switch Warriors games since those you can always get a lot of gameplay from. Fire Emblem Warriors is already there, the two Hyrule Warriors, and Ultimate Warriors Orochi 4.
I'm still hoping for both Dragon Quest Heroes games (I & II) to get a physical release, but no one is asking, and it would be nice to have those too.
About that Project game, since it looks like Octopath Traveller, it makes me wonder if Project is now considered an IP, I guess they could call it the Project Saga from Square Enix.
I'm not into RPGs, but I get happy for those that are, specially now that they are getting Bravely Default 2 as well, and possibly Shin Megami Tensei V which is the the main IP behind Persona.
It's crazy to think Persona that was a spin-off franchise is now its own thing, and probably even more popular now than the IP it originated from.
Talking about Persona, I probably will get Persona 5 Strikers because even if it has RPG elements it is still Omega Force which falls under the Warriors category.

So, what are your thoughts about the latest Nintendo Direct? Metroid 5 looks great. The Zelda Game and Watch looks fun, but I don't know if I'll pick it up. Breath of the Wild 2 definitely has a Skyward Sword vibe. Advanced Wars surprised me a bit. I didn't see that coming. The other games looked solid.

I definitely like the look of Metroid Dread....however, knowing it is going to be a full $80 CDN for a 2D Metroid game these days looks to be more than a bit steep.
New Wario Ware looks Fun
I know some folks who will always love a new Mario Party
Great to see Fatal Frame: Maiden of the Black Water escape its Wii U prison and reach a wider audience. Even though it was announced on the Nintendo Direct, it is apparently coming to PS4/5, XBox One/Series, and PC as well.
Breath of the Wild 2 continues to look great.

Was Federation Force Metroid 4? I'm confused. I do want Metroid 5, it looks fun. You can never go wrong with Metroidvania games.
I also want those Super Monkey Balls games. Super Monkey Balls 1 & 2 were made by the exact same people that did Daytona USA 2001, and F-Zero AX / GX. You can't go wrong with that. Those people are doing Yakuza now, and back then they were some of the best in the industry too.
I'm also glad to finally see a direct port from the arcades with Cruis'n Blast, that doesn't happen very often other than with Arc System Works, so seeing Raw Thrills doing this is very refreshing.
I guess it makes sense now that arcades have been closed for so long. I love playing Cruis'n Blast at Six Flags, so it would be very nice having a home version.
I'm glad Fatal Frame was saved from the Wii U, that series is always cool, and I'm definitely getting Wario, those games are perfect for people nowadays with low attention spams, and they have that arcade feel I love. I always thought they were ahead of their time, and are always incredibly creative.
I can always welcome another Mario Party those are always fun with people, specially when they include older stuff mixed in, the Game Cube stuff was all excellent, and the N64 stuff too.
I have to admit that I never liked playing Mario Golf on consoles, but on handhelds it is a lot of fun. Those games are made for handhelds, and considering the Switch is a handheld system too, I can see this game being very fun on handheld mode.
By the way I never laughed so hard on any Direct before. I was laughing my ass off when I saw Kazuya throwing everyone on the cliff. It's a reference to what he did to his son Jin to make him stronger.
That bit was so hilarious, and it is awesome to see Tekken represented on Smash now. For Amiibo I recently bought Byleth and Terry, and I'm getting Banjo, so I'm looking forward for Kazuya down the line.
I almost forgot that Skyward Sword was having an HD release. I'm a sucker for Zelda, so the Game & Watch, Age Of Calamity, Skyward Sword, and Breath Of The Wild 2 are on my list too.

I liked quite a few of the announcements and will have more games to get for Switch. (Metroid, Advance Wars, Mario Party, Super Monkey Ball, and maybe that Cruis'N game) Also was nice to see SMT V and a release date finally, that was the best part for me(next to new 2D Metroid and anything Advance Wars since that series was thought dead) even though it wasn't a new announcement.
