Do you know of electric scooters that would suit the needs of an adult man like myself? Some of them are more high end and can go up to 15 km/h, but you'll look like an idiot. So you're saying there'd be no change? |

Search for electric moped rather than electric scooter and you'll likely find more appropriate results. Just did so and got much better results than before. Thanks for the tip. |

Alright listen up mother fuckers cause I have to rant about our transportation again.
Complaint #1 Just had to shell out $700 for a new radiator for my truck as it turned out that the deer collision that happened a month ago wrecked my old one. 700 DOLLARS!! Just for a stupid radiator! If I took the train I wouldn't have to worry about this shit!
Complaint #2: Did some research the other day on buses in my area and I learned that the closest bus stop from my apartment is over 30 miles away. Can someone please explain to me why the hell my town of 12,000 people doesn't have a single bus stop in it??
But on the bright side I recently acquired a motor scooter. It'll be my ride for local travel from now on.

Get an electric car if the environment is on the top of your list. The guy who tells me to get an electric car, flips shit when I suggest he do the same. Who's the hack again? What made you think that electric cars in USA, the most far-right country on Earth, would be cheaper than they are in a global left-wing country like Norway? Even though cars in America don't have taxes on them (shame that they don't), our cheapest electric cars (such as the Nissan Leaf) cost twice as much as our gas-powered cars with comparable performance do. And the cheapest model of the Tesla Cyber Truck is debuting at $28,000 from what I hear, which is almost 15x the cost of the average used Ford 2500 super duties that clog every car dealership in my town. I suspect that with this price, the Cyber Truck is sure to flop. All I really want though is to be able to take public transportation. The way I see it, electric cars aren't really the answer, they're just merely a better alternative to gas-powered automobiles. America still uses coal as a primary power source in most states, so 1 bus (electric or otherwise) carrying 30 people makes less of an impact on the environment than 30 Nissan Leafs each carrying one person. I've stopped taking public transportation because it takes 12 minutes to drive, and it takes easily 30-45 minutes woth public transportation each way. That results in an hour loss of time each day, and that doesn't take into consideration that I cannot buy groceries or go to my public library on the way home. The time needed then isn't even worth calculating. There's no toll now after I moved, so I can finally drive in freedom from where I live now, which is fantastic. There's one time though where I'll take public transportation, and that's when I have to work down town if I get some lessons there. There's a pretty expensive toll on the way there and no free parking, so even though commuting with PT sucks, it still beats having to pay a ridiculous amount of money to drive with my car. |

Trains are 19 Century tech. No matter how fast the train goes, you can only go where the tracks take you. Why do you think Socialist/Statists like them? They can control where the people travel.
Cars are freedom. Get in and drive where ever you want. Certain cars don't even need roads.
I want to have both. High speed trains and cars. If I go to Vegas I don't want to drive 4 hours if I can be there in minutes using a high speed train. If I go to the grocery store to buy food then, yes a car is more ideal.
