Some weeks ago (at least a month now, I guess) there was some outrage over something that JonTron said during a 5 hour-long conversation. Needless to say, I won't dig through it to find out what he said, but as someone who enjoys his work I can't help but wonder if what he said was actually offensive or if the internet was just being the internet.

I haven't read about it too much as I only ever watched one or two videos of JonTron (they were pretty meh), but, from the things I read, it wasn't just the internet being the internet: the guy really used a deeply racist rhetoric, like talking about racial purity or how black people were predisposed to commit more crimes. It's especially jarring when you know he is of iranian descent.
It seriously seems he went full Fox News in his debate.

Cervantes  Well, I despise white people for creating slavery and plundering nature, so IMO it's reasonable. However, I don't think there's any good reason to hate blacks as a whole. There's also a rumor that he's a conservative, which, if true, means that I have absolutely positively no respect for him whatsoever now.

I heard of this, but I have no idea what he said or who he is. All I know is that despite how lefty most of my views are, I really despise SJWs, and I wish they will disappear because they tend to get related with the left, and as a consequence make everyone else with some lefty ideas look like total asses. They remind of the Evengelical censorship movements of the 90s, which means their days are counted. However we are still at a point where they may get bigger before they start going down.

You shouldn't really talk about not respecting people when you think white people invented slavery. That "institution" has been around since before recorded history. How would you explain it existing in Pre-Columbian America, before the "white-man" arrived? Did the Chinese took it from Rome when they existed as a nation-state prior to the settling of the 7 hills? If anything you should be thanking white people for the campaign to end slavery (it still exists in certain parts of the world). William Wilberforce of Great Britain and the Abolitionists in the US might be confused on their racial makeup with your accusation. As for plundering nature, how do you feel about the Chinese and their polluting ways? |

I think it's funny how anyone can take his words seriously on any level when he's proven time and time again that under even the slightest amount of pressure his brain completely shuts down and the dumbest things imaginable spews out of his mouth.
