I remember how in the original Wind Squid Pub we had an anime topic, so might as well have another for us to hang out and discuss them, uh! But I wouldn't just open it if I had nothing to say. As a fan of stuff like Noir and The Expendables, I decided I needed help relieving myself from all the hard times of the week days. For that I had Black Lagoon, and what a great show that is! As Revy says in the first episode " Don't be stupid! This is much more entertaining than Hollywood is ever gonna be." So have you guys been having fun with anime? Or just have cool stuff to say about one? |

Huh Didn't know spider was an anime fan.
Ah, haven't touched anime in a while. I've been bussy programming and playing Mario Kart and TF2 to watch anime. I think the last one I saw was Space Dandy.
If I'm honest I was sort of scared of going anywhere near it once I heard it was directed by Watanabe Shinichiro (Better known as the creator of Cowboy Beebop), however my fears were completely unfounded. This show is hell of a lot of fun and it's got something for everyone (Although I do admit some episodes are better than others) just imagine Johnny Bravo going into space and add a lot of sci-fi sub-plots, that's what this show is in a nutshell.
I also watched One Punch Man last season but eh, it's alright.

Basically fantasy world tries to invade Tokyo, gets their shit wrecked, and the JSDF follows them back through the gateway between worlds. |

Bandai is now releasing all their stuff to the US again. I have 0079 on Blu-Ray and it some months they are going to release Zeta. It'll be the series, not the movies. |

Guilion - So, is Space Dandy really cool? I love Cowboy Bebop - it is, in fact, my favourite anime ever. But man, I was completely disappointed by the first episode of Space Dandy, so I haven't watched the rest of the series. You convinced me to give it a second chance - I didn't know it was directed by Shinichiro Watanabe (I also really like Samurai Champloo).
